Lauren Frey is a writer and multidisciplinary artist currently working on projects about her religious upbringing and education. Her writing has been published in The Inflectionist Review, Dream Pop Press, Textual Studies, and others. She recently founded a literary magazine, Copytext, which celebrates and publishes the work of revision.

She earned an MA in English and Literature from Georgetown University in 2019, where she wrote about archival ghosts and the intersection of revision and gender, and was a Lannan Poetry Fellow.

She lives under the tall pines of Portland, OR, where she was born and raised, with her partner.
